My Family,,,

I was born in Kyoto, and grew up in Yokohama.
Kyoto was the oldest city in Japan, and Japanese capital there for 1200 years.
I was born in the hospital in Gion that was called Hanamachi in Kyoto. Hanamachi is an amusement center where Geisya lives, and the most colorful town of the Japanese culture.

My family was the most traditional buddhistfamily in Japan.
End in Edo periodMy great grand grand farther was a great religionist. His name is called Nissen Seifu Nagamatsu. He is an initiator of HBS(Honmon Butsuryu Shu), and he has revived Nichiren Buddhism.

At that time, a Japanese Buddhism was degenerate as a lot of history researchers were pointing it out. Shogunate Government of Edo enforced the Danka system, and made a Japanese Buddhism degenerated. The Danka system prohibited the propagation of the Buddhist temple.
The Buddhist temple became like the ward office of the local government. The citizens were made to belong to the buddhist temple compulsorily in the region.

They did not have freedom that selected the religion. And, a religious person did not propagate being contented with this situation.
The Buddhism lost the intended purpose. It was not an exception for Nichiren Buddhism. And, they repeated the interpretation of the doctrine in closing environment.
They lost sight of the true intention of Buddha and Nichiren, and did not relieve people.

And, Seifu Nagamatsu started operations in the environment.
